Osprey Assessments, in conjunction with the GIS and Remote Sensing Center for Aerial Unmanned Systems Imaging at Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis, participated in the annual INDOT full-scale disaster response exercise on September 21st near North Vernon, Indiana.  The exercise mirrored a realistic disaster setting and this year’s theme was earthquakes.  INDOT performed simulated road and bridge assessments as if there had been a 7.0 earthquake.  Osprey Assessments participated by providing sUAS (drone) based aerial imaging of inaccessible portions of a bridge over the Muscatatuck River in coordination with Level 1 & 2 bridge inspectors.

Using our 30x zoom capable HD Video Camera we are able to zoom into the "nut and bolt" level from a stand off distance.  Here is a quick video of some of the images captured.
